Truck Probes

A robust tool used to collect representative samples for quality control.

Product Description

Meeting market requirements, complying with standards, and automating your sampling processes... TPLG is the solution! A unique range of products designed to meet all your needs, we are committed every day to working alongside you to enhance and optimize your production.

Depending on each professional's needs, a suitable sampler can be provided: for rural collection points, transfer silos, port silos, sampling agricultural vehicles, semi-trailers, railcars, ships during loading or unloading, and grain or processed product transfer circuits inside a silo.

Whatever the method chosen, sampling accuracy increases with the number of samples taken across the full height of the grain in the trailer, in accordance with ISOstandards for static sampling (NF EN ISO 24333 (2010-02)).

Sampling must be carried out by one or more individuals trained in the use of TPL sampling probes and made aware of the importance of the process (number of samples, selected sampling points, and automated sampling).

Beyond automation, TPLG also now offers innovative solutions for grain reception, distribution, and analysis through the SARA system and its integrated management software "Sarasoft," a next-generation tool that reduces the risk of human error and fraud while providing significant time savings during laboratory analysis processes.

Truck Probes Use

Grain probes are essential for ensuring precise control of grain quality and preservation throughout the storage and handling chain.

They are particularly useful on farms, where they help monitor storage conditions immediately after harvest and prevent losses related to moisture or heating.

In silos and grain facilities, they play a critical role in monitoring large volumes of grain, helping to quickly detect risk areas and maintain consistent quality.

Transport and handling companies also use these probes to ensure
grains remain stable and safe during movement and transfers
between facilities.

Finally, in the agricultural processing sector, they help guarantee
optimal raw material quality before processing, reducing the risk of
contamination or deterioration.

FAQ

What is a grain probe used for?

A grain probe is used to collect grain samples from silos, trucks, or warehouses in order to analyze their quality.

Why use a grain probe?

It allows for representative and accurate samples, which are essential for monitoring moisture, cleanliness, and grain quality.

What is the difference between grain probe models?

Models differ in length, system type (manual or rail-mounted), and level of precision depending on sampling requirements.

Are grain probes compatible with all grain types?

Yes, they can be used for various grain types such as wheat, corn, barley, and soybeans.

Which grain probe should I choose?

The choice depends on the application: sampling depth, frequency of use, and required level of precision.

Are grain probes easy to use?

Yes, they are designed to be simple, fast, and efficient, even in demanding working conditions.
